#24mag - I need help!
So we’re starting the magazine. I’m writing about an imaginary website that harmonizes first all data from scientific studies, and then all of science. Eventually this website figures out how to synthesize a single account of all of science into one single theory.
I will need YOUR help. Especially if you’re working on the theory of knowledge, the nature of truth, longitudinal...

Backstage choir?
So - everyone who was around last night for the show and thinking about ways that the fairies could make more sense….
Backstage choir singing some of the fairy words? Like, for the opening there could be actual voices doing cool shit….
Thoughts?

Read this whole thing. It is possibly the most amazing thing to happen at my show last night.
My feet are about to kill me. But that show was awesome. It was super awesome.
Thank you all and a million congratulations.

So I did finally finish the piece for the reading. And it’s only 8 hours over a week before the reading.
Ye gods, Kevin. I like to give musicians a month with scores before the show. But sometimes… well… stuff happens. Luckily, this scene is pretty close to what it was last time, and the musicians working on this show are INCREDIBLE.
If it weren’t for that, I...

this is definitely the sort of sick day where you get shit done from the couch, feel kind of okay staying in one place, then think “why am I not at the office? I’m functional! What a slacker am I!” Then you move around a bit, and go “Oh. Right. That’s why. Bring me tea, blankets, and my laptop’s power cable. I’m going to be here a while.”

We’re under two weeks to the reading on May 4. I still have a scene to write, but honestly there are more pressing concerns right now. Posters need to be printed and posted, emails need to be sent to potential attendees, rehearsals need to be scheduled, menus planned, and other details arranged.
Believe it or not, at this stage, finishing the music isn’t the most important part. If I...

Is there an onion article about the tradition in modern hunter gatherer tribes of humoring documentary filmmakers as a rite of passage?

One man here weighs just 77 pounds. Another, 98. Last thing I knew, I weighed 132, but that was a month ago.
I’ve been on a hunger strike since Feb. 10 and have lost well over 30 pounds. I will not eat until they restore my dignity.
I’ve been detained at Guantánamo for 11…

First rehearsal
Well, more of a kickoff meeting. We’d tried to find one kick-off time to get everyone together in one place. We were going to talk about the schedule, the nature of the piece, the nature of the show we’re doing, and maybe play through some stuff.
I really wanted everyone together so we could finalize a schedule. We were down a good chunk of people, so we did what we could, scheduled...
