Going to XOXO two weeks before Ruckus NYC went down was really fascinating. As an attendee, XOXO was a blast. As a producer, I was in awe. The next event I run is learning a LOT from this.
A lot of what Andy Baio says in this post I could have guessed, but the bits I didn’t know and the coherence of the presentation are wonderful to have as resources.
side note: I have no idea how to fix the diversity problem without creating other problems for the event next time, but wow is that a fun problem to work on.
